"The list now includes 64 countries"
Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin approved changes to the list of countries whose citizens can obtain a unified electronic visa to enter Russia.
The list now includes Barbados, Bhutan, Zimbabwe, Jordan, Kenya, Papua New Guinea, Saint Lucia, Tonga, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkmenistan, and Eswatini. Serbia and Andorra have been removed from the list due to bilateral agreements on visa-free travel with these countries.
As a result, citizens of 64 countries can now use the simplified visa application procedure, which has been in effect since August 1, 2023, and allows for visa issuance through the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs portal.
The electronic visa is available for tourism, business, humanitarian, and private visits without requiring an invitation, hotel booking confirmation, or other documents justifying the purpose of the trip. The visa processing time is up to four days, and children under six years old receive the visa free of charge.
