Remote business inspections will be introduced in Russia

In 2024, a mechanism for remote inspections using the "Mobile Inspector" application will be implemented in the field of control and supervision, as announced by Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Government Apparatus Dmitry Grigorenko. The launch of remote control will be carried out within a pilot project.

The Deputy Prime Minister noted that the efficiency of control measures has significantly increased thanks to the new inspection system. In 2023, it reached 89%, and inspections are conducted based on a risk-oriented model, focusing on cases of direct threats or violations of rules that pose a danger to the life and health of citizens.

With the improvement of control quality, the number of inspections decreases. In 2023, about 353,000 inspections were conducted, almost 5 times less than in 2019. In addition, last year saw 1.1 million preventive visits, which was three times more than the number of inspections. These on-site consultations with businesses address compliance with laws and are not accompanied by fines or other sanctions, noted the Deputy Prime Minister.

Dmitry Grigorenko stated that a system is being created to make business operations more comfortable and advantageous while complying with laws.
