"The State Duma of the Russian Federation considered a draft law on tax accounting through the portal "Gosuslugi""
The State Duma of the Russian Federation has considered a bill that will allow individuals to register with the tax authorities using the portal "Gosuslugi". The corresponding application can be submitted electronically. The deputies unanimously supported the initiative.
“A single portal of state and municipal services has become an essential element of the national digital infrastructure. The list of services that can be obtained remotely is constantly expanding. This saves citizens from the need to stand in live queues and simplifies the preparation of documents and certificates, "said Chairman of the State Duma Viacheslav Volodin.
The taxpayer's application must be certified with an enhanced qualified or unqualified electronic signature. The registration notification will also be sent through the "State Services".
Currently, an application for registration can be sent electronically through the website of the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation, but in order to receive a notification, you still have to come in person to the tax authority.
The amendments will enter into force 6 months after the date of the official publication of the relevant law.
