Requirements for internal control rules for the prevention of legalization of proceeds of crime, financing of terrorism and financing the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction have been approved by lawyers, notaries, legal or accounting providers, auditing organizations and individual auditors.
Internal control rules are drawn up in paper or electronic form. They include 9 compulsory programs:
- organization of the internal control system;
- identification of customers, customer representatives and (or) beneficiaries, beneficial owners;
- client studies;
- risk assessment and management;
- identification of transactions and financial transactions that have signs of connection with money laundering;
- freezing (blocking) funds or other property;
- training and education of personnel;
- checks of the internal control system;
- storage of information.
