The Russian government has extended the simplified registration procedure for the unemployed until December 31, 2021. The decree on this was approved by the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin.
The procedure that has been in effect since last year provides for the possibility of submitting an application for registration as an unemployed person through the Work in Russia website. It also allows you to apply for unemployment benefits through your personal account on the "Gosuslugi" portal.
Such a regulation frees citizens from the need to attend employment services. They also do not need to collect a package of documents on their own - all the information that is required for assigning benefits is sent to specialized institutions automatically.
Note that in 2021 the maximum amount of unemployment benefits is 12,130 rubles, the minimum is 1,500 rubles. Unemployment benefits are calculated from the first day a citizen is recognized as unemployed. In this case, the first 3 months are paid 75% of the average earnings at the last place of work, but not more than 12,130 rubles, and the next 3 months - 60% of the earnings, but not more than 5,000 rubles.
