The State Duma of the Russian Federation established administrative fines for the absence of a plan for the prevention and elimination of an oil spill, as well as for providing the authorities with inaccurate data on such incidents.
For officials, a fine from 10 to 30 thousand rubles may be imposed, for individual entrepreneurs - from 30 to 50 thousand rubles, for legal entities - from 100 to 300 thousand rubles. In case of a repeated violation, fines of up to 60 thousand rubles are stipulated for officials, up to 80 thousand rubles for individual entrepreneurs, and up to 500 thousand rubles for legal entities. For individual entrepreneurs and legal entities, it is possible to suspend activities for up to 90 days.
Failure to notify the authorized body of the fact of an oil and petroleum product spill or notification without providing the necessary information, the provision of deliberately inaccurate data for officials entails a fine in the amount of 20 to 50 thousand rubles, for individual entrepreneurs - from 50 to 100 thousand rubles, for legal entities - from 150 to 500 thousand rubles.
In case of a repeated violation, the fine for officials will be from 50 to 100 thousand rubles, for individual entrepreneurs - from 100 to 200 thousand rubles. with the possibility of suspension of work for 90 days, for legal entities - from 500 thousand to 1 million rubles. with a possible suspension of activities for 90 days.
Citizens can receive a fine of up to 20 thousand rubles for failure to comply with the instructions of the environmental supervision authorities, officials - up to 50 thousand rubles, legal entities - up to 200 thousand rubles. Repeated offenses will result in higher fines. For citizens, the maximum fine will be up to 50 thousand rubles, for officials - up to 100 thousand rubles. with disqualification up to 3 years, for legal entities - up to 300 thousand rubles.
