The Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, on behalf of the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Alexander Novak, will work out a number of measures aimed at stabilizing the situation on the fuel market. The department will study the feasibility of introducing a temporary ban on the export of gasoline, as well as establishing the maximum permissible indicative values ​​of regional wholesale prices for fuel.

"The Ministry of Energy of Russia, taking into account the situation on the oil products market in the third quarter of 2021, will consider the feasibility of introducing a temporary ban on the export of gasoline, and will also study the need to conclude agreements with oil companies to establish maximum permissible indicative values ​​of regional wholesale prices, which provide the necessary marginality of the retail market", - the message says.

The Ministry of Energy and the Federal Antimonopoly Service of the Russian Federation will work out the possibility of increasing the minimum allowable volume of gasoline and diesel sales on the exchange by 1 percentage point in the third quarter of 2021 - up to 12% for gasoline and up to 8.5% for diesel fuel.
