According to Anatoly Chubais, after the tests, the first Russian gas turbine of high power GTE-110M was finalized. Large gas turbines have caused a scandal with Siemens equipment in the Crimea. The German company claims that on the peninsula, in violation of contractual obligations, four turbines were moved, delivered in summer 2016 for the project in Taman. It was reported that Siemens is ready to buy out all equipment and cancel the contract. Moscow, meanwhile, insists that the turbines supplied to the peninsula are of Russian origin.
