The chief sanitary doctor of Kabardino-Balkaria, Zhiroslan Pagov, has expanded the list of professions for which mandatory vaccination against COVID-19 has been introduced in the region. The requirements are extended to employees of the media who work on the basis of an employment or civil contract.
Heads of organizations must ensure that their employees are vaccinated with the first component of the vaccine by August 10, and the second - no later than September 1. This obligation does not apply only to employees with a medical officer.
Over the past day, 75 new cases of the disease were detected in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, 37 patients recovered, and 3 people died from COVID-19. The number of patients in the region as of July 20 is 1229 people.
Note that at present, compulsory vaccination for representatives of certain professions and industries has been introduced in 39 Russian regions.
