Catering establishments are obliged to check the validity of the QR code presented by the visitor. At the same time, restaurants are not required to verify its authenticity, the Moscow headquarters for coronavirus reported.
If the QR code leads to a fake page on the Internet instead of the State Services website, then cafes and restaurants will not bear responsibility for this. For registration of a fake QR code, citizens can be brought to administrative or criminal liability.
Catering establishments are required to install control points and additional fences, as well as organize a QR code check. The code must be read by a smartphone or other device, including using the Unified Portal of State and Municipal Services, the specialized application "Gosuslugi.Stopkoronavirus", applications "State Services of Moscow", "My Moscow", "Moscow Assistant". The initials and date of birth of the visitor contained on the open page must correspond to the data in the client's passport.
If the waiter realized that the QR code is fake, but still allowed the client to enter the restaurant, the legal entity will be liable under article 20.6.1 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation: the restaurant will face a fine of 100 to 300 thousand rubles. In case of repeated violation, the fine will be from 500 thousand to 1 million rubles. or an administrative suspension of activities for up to 90 days will be imposed.
Earlier it became known that the first restaurant violating the QR code system was revealed in Moscow.
