Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin approved support measures for organizations and individual entrepreneurs that operate in the field of public catering.
The document stipulates that organizations and individual entrepreneurs in the catering sector will be provided until the end of the year with a deferral to pay rent payments for the third quarter of this year under lease agreements for non-residential facilities that are owned by the city.
The postponement is provided subject to the intended use of the rented premises. These Moscow business entities that do not belong to SMEs, from July 1 to December 31, 2021, will be provided with the opportunity to concessional lending at a rate of 4% per annum, if for 2020:
- the total income did not exceed 2 billion rubles, and the share of income from the sale of catering services was at least 70%;
- the average number of employees exceeded 250 people;
- the average monthly amount of payments on insurance premiums was not less than the size of the average salary in this industry in Moscow.
For SMEs operating in priority sectors, it is envisaged to provide economic support measures by the end of the year in the amount of 8% per annum on loans that were received by entrepreneurs no earlier than April 15, 2020.
