The procedure for bringing labor migrants to Russia to work at construction sites in the coming month may be simplified. This was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin.
“We are trying to resolve this issue. Now there is a catastrophic shortage of workers. I think that in the next month we will still simplify the procedure for bringing workers to construction sites, ”Khusnullin said.
Earlier, the Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation Nikita Stasishin told reporters that the Ministry of Construction does not exclude the possibility of importing labor migrants to the regions of the country on charter trains of Russian Railways.
The shortage of labor resources at construction sites in Russia, caused, among other things, by the closure of borders and the inability to attract foreign workers, in general reaches 1.5-2 million people. At the same time, due to the deficit, workers' salaries have risen by about 50%, and somewhere - by half.
Recall that at the end of 2020, a simplified procedure for the entry of migrants to work on construction sites in Russia was organized. The developer is obliged to comply with the current legislation of the Russian Federation and ensure sanitary and epidemiological control.
