A program has been approved according to which federal accounting standards for public finance will be developed. The previously used similar program is no longer valid.
The program will run from 2021 to 2024. In accordance with it, it is planned to create a standard "State (municipal) treasury", to develop a "Chart of accounts for budgetary accounting", as well as a "Unified chart of accounts for public finance accounting."
The program establishes approaches to the formation of accounting (financial) statements for the general government sector.
